Bookings & Professional Makeup Services

What does a UBELLA Mini Makeover include?+
Our signature Mini Makeover includes professional makeup application, hairstyling (excluding hair cutting or colouring), before-and-after photographs, and, with your permission, the opportunity to have your transformation featured on our social media platforms.
How much does a Mini Makeover cost?+
Our Mini Makeover Package is R2,999, and includes a 2-hour professional makeup application, a false lash set, basic hairstyling, and beautifully edited before & after photos. Please view our latest Price List for pricing on our other services, or contact our team if you have any questions.
How much do Matric Dance packages cost?+
We offer two packages: our Silver Package at R4,999 (excludes a hair and makeup trial) and our Gold Package at R6,499 (includes a 1-hour makeup trial and a 1.5-hour hair trial with Alecia). We recommend trials at least 2 months before your event.
How much do your makeup workshops cost?+
Our Group Makeup Workshop is R2,999 per person, for groups of 4 to 8 people over 4 to 6 hours. Our One-on-One Makeup Workshop is R6,999 for a private 2 to 3 hour session.
How do I book a makeup service?+
Bookings can be made quickly and easily through WhatsApp by clicking any Book Your Service button throughout our website.
How far in advance should I make a booking?+
Alecia's diary often fills up well in advance, particularly during wedding season and matric farewell periods. We recommend booking as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
Do you offer bridal makeup trials?+
Yes. Bridal trials are available and highly recommended to ensure your makeup is perfect for your wedding day.
Do you travel for bridal bookings?+
Yes. Travel is available for selected bridal bookings depending on the venue location. Additional travel fees may apply.
Do you travel for Matric Dance bookings?+
No. Matric Dance bookings are conducted exclusively at the UBELLA Studio (Eriksen Close, Sandton). We do not offer travel for these bookings.
Do you offer makeup workshops?+
Yes. UBELLA offers both private one-on-one makeup workshops and group workshops, designed to help women build confidence and improve their makeup skills in a supportive environment.

Payments & Cancellations

Do I need to pay in full to secure my booking?+
Yes. Bookings for all services excluding bridal hair and makeup (e.g. Mini Makeovers, professional hair and/or makeup, makeup workshops, etc.) must be paid in full via EFT on the day of booking in order to secure your appointment date and time.
Do you accept cash payments?+
No. Payment must be made via EFT prior to your appointment date. No cash payments will be accepted on the day of your appointment.
What is your cancellation policy for general bookings?+
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 working days of your scheduled appointment. However, you will receive a UBELLA voucher to the value of your booking, valid for 3 months from the original appointment date.
What is your cancellation policy for Matric Dance bookings?+
No refunds will be issued for Matric Dance bookings cancelled within 30 days of the appointment date.

Online Courses

Do I need previous makeup experience?+
Not at all.
Both of our online courses have been specifically designed for beginners and are presented in a simple, easy-to-follow format.
How long do I have access to my course?+
You'll receive lifetime access, allowing you to revisit every lesson whenever you need a refresher.
Can I watch the lessons more than once?+
Absolutely.
You can pause, replay, and revisit every lesson as many times as you'd like.
Will I receive a certificate?+
Certificates are not currently included. If this changes in the future, we'll update our course information accordingly.
Which course should I choose?+
The EveryWoman Online Course is ideal if you'd like to learn how to confidently apply your own makeup.
The Tiny Talent Online Course is designed for parents and guardians who want to create beautiful stage-ready makeup for their young performers.

Absolutely.
Every UBELLA product has been carefully selected or designed to make makeup application easier while still delivering professional-quality results.

Gift Vouchers

How do UBELLA Gift Vouchers work?+
Gift vouchers can be purchased online and redeemed against eligible UBELLA products and services.
Does purchasing a Gift Voucher reserve my booking date?+
No.
Gift vouchers do not guarantee availability on a specific date. Appointments remain subject to availability, so we recommend booking as early as possible.
Can Gift Vouchers be used on products?+
Yes.
Eligible gift vouchers can be redeemed on qualifying UBELLA products or services. Please refer to the Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions for full details.

Reviews

How do I receive my 5% Photo Review discount?+
Simply submit your written review together with one or more photos. Once your review has been approved, you'll receive your 5% discount code for your next UBELLA product purchase.
How do I receive my 10% Video Review discount?+
Upload your video review together with your feedback. Once approved, we'll send you a 10% discount code for your next UBELLA product purchase.
When will my review appear on the website?+
